Planning a Trip Abroad? Here's How to Request Travel Vaccinations
If you're heading overseas, it's important to make sure you're protected against any health risks specific to your destination. We offer a range of travel vaccines under the NHS to help keep you safe while you explore the world. Please note all travel vaccine request forms must be submitted 8-12 weeks before you travel, this is so we can insure an appointment at least 6 weeks before travel to give you maximum protection.
How to Request Travel Vaccinations:
- Submit a Travel Vaccine Request Form. The form can be found further down this page. Be sure to include details of your destination(s), travel dates, and any planned activities.
- Travel Consultation. Once we receive your form, our team will contact you to arrange an appointment, they will discuss your travel plans and needs based on your itinerary and medical history.
- Receive Your Vaccinations. After your consultation, we’ll schedule your vaccination appointments. Some vaccines may require multiple doses, so please plan ahead.
If you are travelling in less than 6 weeks, please be aware of the following:
Limited Availability: Due to short notice, we may not be able to offer a full travel health consultation or administer all recommended vaccines in time.
Reduced Protection: Some vaccines require multiple doses over several weeks to provide full immunity. Late requests may result in partial protection.
Urgent Appointments: We will do our best to accommodate urgent requests, but appointment slots are limited and subject to availability.
Alternative Providers: If we are unable to meet your needs, we may recommend contacting a specialist travel clinic.
We strongly advise submitting your travel vaccine request as early as possible to ensure adequate protection and planning.
Safe travels and stay healthy!
